Thorn Heyes House is situated towards the outskirts of Buxton Spa town in the heart of the Peak District. The accommodation we offer is three self-catering apartments sleeping up to 4, 5 and 10 persons, and the Coach House sleeping up to 8 persons.
The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a comfortably high standard throughout, providing guests with everything needed for a warm, relaxing and enjoyable stay.
There is ample private off-road parking, with handy conveniences close by: 24 hour Tesco Express & service station; Robin Hood public house, both within 3 minutes walk. The main shopping centre – Spring Gardens - is also only 10 minutes walk from the house too, so no need to feel stranded here!
We keep an extensive range of leaflets with what to see and where to go in and around the area, leaving no shortage of things to do for guests who like days filled with activities and adventure.
Buxton has plenty to offer as a town with the Opera House, Go Ape park, Poole’s Cavern, to name but a few. It also has a lively night scene with several nightclubs, an abundance of restaurants and a wide choice of other eating houses. So if after a busy day’s sightseeing the prospect of cooking is less than appealing, you can let someone else do it! (One of the many advantages of a self-catering break.)
